1 Assessment record per player, per skill, every time

Skill Assessments That Attach to Every Player's Record

Most clubs track player skills in a coach's notebook or a spreadsheet nobody else can see. BeeNet gives coaches a dedicated Player Progress workspace in the admin portal — define the skills that matter for your sport, then record a rated assessment and a note for each player, saved permanently to their record.

What Makes This Different

Four specific, checkable mechanisms — not adjectives.

Skills You Define, Not a Fixed List

Skill definitions are built by your club — per sport, per age group, per position — instead of a generic template that doesn't match how you actually coach.

Every Assessment Lands on the Player's Record

A coach's rating and notes for a specific skill save directly against that player, not in a notebook or a spreadsheet only one coach can find.

A Dedicated Workspace, Not a Bolt-On

Player Progress has its own route in the admin portal — skill definitions and assessments live in one place, not scattered across a generic notes field.

Built for a Club, Not a Repurposed Gradebook

This is a sports-club module first: skills, coaches, and players — not an academic grading scale relabeled for a pitch or a court.

What the Player Progress Module Actually Does

Built around the foundation a club needs first: a defined skill set and a real record of what coaches observed.

Skill Definitions You Control

Create and manage the specific skills coaches assess — e.g., a passing accuracy skill for football, a serve-technique skill for tennis — instead of picking from a fixed, generic list.

Structured Assessments Per Player

A coach records a rated assessment against a specific skill for a specific player, plus a note — not a paragraph of freeform text that's hard to compare across sessions.

Coach Notes Alongside Every Rating

Each assessment can carry a written note, so the context behind a rating — what the coach actually saw — isn't lost along with it.

A Running Record for Every Player

Each new assessment adds to that player's history in the admin portal, so a coach reviewing a player's file sees what's already been recorded, not a blank slate every session.

Dedicated Admin Workspace

Player Progress has its own route in the admin portal. Skill definitions and assessments are managed there directly, not buried inside a general notes or documents section.

Recorded Against Real Players in Your Club

Assessments are recorded against the players in your club — not a generic name field you have to fill in by hand each time.

How It Works

1

Define the skills

An admin sets up the skill definitions that matter for a given sport, age group, or position — the checklist coaches will assess players against.

2

Coach records the assessment

During or after a session, a coach opens a player's record in the admin portal, rates them against a defined skill, and adds a note if it's useful.

3

It saves to the player's record

The assessment attaches permanently to that player, building a history the coach — or a colleague — can refer back to before the next session.

Why It Matters for a Club

1
Dedicated route for skill assessments

Player Progress has its own place in the admin portal — not a repurposed notes field or a spreadsheet a coach has to remember to share.

Custom
Skill definitions your club builds

You define what gets assessed — sport by sport, age group by age group — instead of adapting a generic checklist that doesn't fit.

Every
Assessment saved to the player's record

A rating and a coach's note attach directly to the player being assessed, so the record builds up assessment after assessment instead of living in one coach's private notes.

Common Questions

Can players or parents see skill assessments in the mobile app?

Not yet. Assessments are recorded and reviewed by coaches and staff in the admin portal. There's no player-facing or parent-facing view in the mobile app today — that's a gap we're upfront about, not a hidden limitation.

Does BeeNet track goals, achievements, or fitness data for players?

Not yet. What's shipped today is the foundation: skill definitions and structured coach assessments. Goals and achievements, fitness tracking, and reporting or analytics dashboards are planned for later phases but aren't built.

Is there an analytics dashboard showing a player's progress over time?

Not currently. Every assessment is saved to the player's record in the admin portal, so a coach can look back at what was recorded for a player. Charting or trend analysis is a later phase, not part of what's shipped.

Can I customize what skills get assessed for my sport?

Yes. Skill definitions are something your club builds and manages, not a fixed catalog — set up whatever's relevant per sport, age group, or position.

Who records an assessment?

Coaches and staff with admin access record assessments through the dedicated Player Progress section, against the players in your club — there's no separate name or spreadsheet to look up first.

Is it just a numeric rating, or can a coach add context?

Both. Each assessment pairs a rating against a specific skill with an optional written note, so the reasoning behind the rating is captured alongside it, not lost.
