1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as localStorage (a web-browser storage mechanism) for some of the purposes listed below. In this policy, "cookies" refers to both.
Cookies help the website remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and — with your permission — measure how the site is used so we can improve it.
2. How We Ask for Your Consent
The first time you visit beenet.app, we display a consent banner that lets you:
- Accept all — analytics cookies and advertising / conversion-measurement cookies
- Reject all — we will only use strictly necessary cookies
- Customize — switch Analytics and Advertising & conversion measurement on or off separately
"Reject all" is offered with the same visual weight as "Accept all", in line with the French CNIL guidelines of 17 September 2020 and the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) guidelines 05/2020 on consent.
Your choice is stored locally in your browser (key: beenet-consent) with your answer for each category, the consent version and a timestamp. When we add a category or materially change how data is used, the version changes and we ask you again.
Changing or withdrawing your consent
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" button: it is in the footer of every page and also floats in the bottom corner of the screen once you have made a choice. Clicking it reopens the banner, where you can reject everything or switch individual categories off. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and takes effect immediately for Google tags on the page.
We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser sends it, the banner is not shown and analytics and advertising cookies remain disabled.
3. Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies do not require consent because they are indispensable to provide a service you have explicitly requested.

Cloudflare Turnstile is considered strictly necessary for the specific feature of protecting a form against automated abuse, as recognized by the European Data Protection Board. It does not track you across sites for marketing purposes.
4. Analytics Cookies (with Your Consent)
If you click Accept all or enable analytics in the Customize panel, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with the site so we can improve it.

Our GA4 configuration
- Google Consent Mode v2 with default
analytics_storage = denied. No GA cookies are written until you grant consent. - IP anonymization enabled (
anonymize_ip: true). - Google signals off —
allow_google_signalsandallow_ad_personalization_signalsare both disabled, so GA4 does not build cross-device profiles or advertising audiences. - No remarketing audiences are created from analytics data.
- Data is processed under Google's Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers and retained according to GA4 default retention (2 months to 14 months, configurable).
Before you consent, Google Tag sends cookieless pings without identifiers. These allow basic aggregate measurement but store nothing on your device.
5. Advertising and Conversion Measurement (with Your Consent)
We advertise BeeNet on Google Ads. If you click Accept all or enable Advertising & conversion measurement in the Customize panel, we use Google Ads conversion measurement. Its only purpose is to know which of our ads lead to a demo request, so we can stop paying for the ones that do not.

What this does and does not do
- Set only with your consent. Google Consent Mode v2 keeps
ad_storageandad_user_datadenied until you accept this category. - No remarketing and no personalised ads.
ad_personalizationstays denied whatever you choose: there is no option on this site that turns it on, and we build no audience lists from your visit. - Recipient: Google, which receives the ad click identifier and the fact that a demo request was sent. Google may process this data outside the European Union under its Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Without consent, Google tags send only cookieless pings without identifiers, which allow aggregate, modelled measurement and store nothing on your device.
What we do not use
No Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag or TikTok Pixel, no retargeting pixels, no social-media tracking widgets, no session-replay or chat widgets that record your visit.
6. Promo Code and Campaign Attribution (localStorage)
Two keys are stored in your browser's localStorage when you arrive through a tagged link. They stay on your device and are only read when you send the demo request form, so the request carries where it came from.

They are sent to us only as part of a demo request you choose to send (see section 17 of our Privacy Policy). You can delete them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
7. Managing Cookies in Your Browser
In addition to our consent banner, you can manage cookies directly from your browser settings:
Most browsers allow you to view what cookies are stored, delete individual or all cookies, block cookies from specific sites, and enable the "Global Privacy Control" signal, which we honor automatically.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we introduce new cookies or change how existing ones are used, we will update this policy and — where legally required — ask for your consent again. Look for the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
